The Stimulating Enthusiasm, Exploration, and Discovery through Biotechnology Education (SEEDBEd) team includes a group of determined individuals willing to work toward the improvement of biotechnology understanding in the northeastern corner of Oklahoma. Diana Spencer, Ph.D. in biomedical sciences serves as lead PI and has overall responsibility for implementing the project. Dr. Spencer is the Biotechnology Coordinator and Instructor for Tulsa Community College. Dr. Spencer reports to Joe Parli, Ph.D., Associate Dean for Science and Mathematics at TCC Southeast Campus. SEEDBEd is also managed by five co-PIs: Mary Gutierrez Phillips, M.S., TCC Associate Professor of Biology, Victoria Gonzales-Prevatt, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Chemistry, Dusti Sloan, M.S., Assistant Professor of Biology, Bill Briscoe, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Chemistry, Adrienne Elder, M.S., Tulsa Public Schools Science Resource Coordinator and Harrington Wells, Ph.D., Tenured Biology Professor at the University of Tulsa.
